Developments In Bournville Reopened
Clarion Housing has announced the reopening of its two developments in south-west Birmingham for the first time since the introduction of lockdown in March.
Britain’s largest housing association, is now inviting house-hunters to The Oaks in Selly Oak and Woodbrook House at Bournville Park for appointment-only, socially distanced tours of show homes and marketing suites on both sites, where prices start from £160,000.
The option of Shared Ownership on the homes at The Oaks and Woodbrook House provides an opportunity for buyers to take their first step onto the housing ladder. It allows people to buy a share of the home – as much as they can afford – starting from as little as 25% and rising up to 75% of the property’s value. The deposit required for a Shared Ownership mortgage is often much lower than outright purchases, starting from as little as 5% of the share value.
These semi-rural developments offer a range of homes to suit first-time buyers looking to take a first step onto the property ladder, commuters into central Birmingham and downsizers drawn to the nearby amenities. The homes can be bought from £40,000 based on a 25% share of a £160,000 full purchase price, with one-, two- and three-bedroom homes available to reserve now.
