A new show home illustrates the flexibility of the latest release at CALA Homes' Jordanhill Park...

CALA Homes (West) has released the first of its townhouses directly against the backdrop of the iconic David Stow building as part of its popular Alder Collection at Jordanhill Park.

The new homes, which sit alongside the range of one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments and penthouses of the Sir Henry Wood building, which are also part of the collection, will also be the first with direct access to a unique, newly created ‘linear park’ which will run alongside them.

Continuing the conservation efforts at Jordanhill Park, including the planting of more than 400 new trees and installation of bird and bat boxes which kicked off back in 2019, the linear park will introduce bee and bird hotels as well as natural features encouraging outdoor play.

Amongst the new homes on offer as part of the Alder Collection, are the ‘Baird’ and the ‘Clancey’ home styles – both versatile townhouses offering CALA’s signature high specification, as well as a host of thoughtful touches throughout.

The ground floor of the four-bedroom ‘Baird’ features a large open-plan dining area with impressive bi-fold doors leading out to the lush garden, and a room at the front of the home perfect for a home office, games room or cosy snug. Upstairs, buyers will find a spacious, formal lounge, two bedrooms and a family bathroom. The top floor has another two bedrooms, both with stylish en suite facilities.

The ‘Clancey’, which also spans three storeys, is perfect for families looking for a little more room to grow. It presents modern, contemporary living without the need to compromise on space as it hosts five generous-sized bedrooms across the first and second floors. The ground floor features an internal garage as well as a versatile, open-plan living and dining concept.

The ‘Baird’ is priced from £564,995, whilst prices for the ‘Clancey’ begin at £619,995.

Jordanhill ParkIn addition, CALA Homes (West) has also released an additional new show home bringing to life the three-storey, flexible family living on offer at Jordanhill Park. The ‘Rankine’, a five-bedroom townhouse, has been decked out by interior designer Ronnie Kennedy of Get Fully Furnished.

Liana Canavan, sales and marketing director for CALA Homes (West), said: “We’ve been blown away by the response and interest in the three-storey homes we currently have available.

“We’re thrilled to be able to offer more choice to prospective buyers with the Alder Collection, which is very impressive and really adds to the wow-factor across the development – even more so given the addition of the stunning linear park which is being specifically created to run alongside the homes.

“Our much-loved ‘Rankine’ and ‘Elder’ home styles are also available, so there is something to suit every buyer. I would recommend visiting our show village, which includes the ‘Baird’ and ‘Elder’ show homes as well as our two-bedroom show apartment and two slightly different takes on the popular ‘Rankine’ homestyle, to see what’s on offer and to find out more.”

Viewings can be arranged by appointment, with all social distancing measures in place, or you can even arrange a virtual viewing, allowing you to see what’s on offer from the comfort of your own sofa. Find out more at www.cala.co.uk.
