First-Time Buyer Event In Aberdeen This Weekend
Housebuilder CALA Homes (North) is inviting those looking to discover their first dream home to a special First Time Buyer Event, for a chance to chat to experts on all aspects of buying a property, which will take place on Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 June at the housebuilder’s Craibstone Estate development, a tranquil rural neighbourhood located just five miles from Aberdeen city centre.
All first-time buyers visiting the event, by appointment between 10.00am and 5.30pm both days, will be able to meet CALA’s experienced sales consultants, who have extensive knowledge of the local property market and will be on hand to discuss every aspect of taking your first steps onto the property ladder.
Guests to the event will also have an opportunity to tour some of the contemporary one- and two-bedroom apartments available at Craibstone Estate, each fitted with quality appliances and flooring included.
The team will also be able to talk potential homebuyers through some of CALA’s tailored incentives which can help to simplify the purchase process for first-time buyers, including a contribution towards deposit costs, a reduced reservation fee of £250 and a £2,000 voucher towards new furniture for your new home. Offers are subject to terms and conditions.
There will also be independent financial advisors from Aberdeen’s First Mortgage branch at the event who will be on hand to discuss the mortgage process and answer any questions. Angela McKay, regional sales manager at First Mortgage, said: “Buying your first property can be daunting, especially if you’ve no one to turn to for advice. We’re delighted to attend CALA Homes’ First Time Buyer event to chat through any concerns or questions about applying for a mortgage.
“There’s even more opportunities that have opened up for first-time buyers, leading to a market that is more open to helping and providing more choice than ever. With the market in a stronger position, now is currently a fantastic time to jump onto the property ladder so we’ll be discussing all options with buyers visiting the event on the day.”
Fraser Carr, sales and marketing director at CALA Homes (North), said: “Our team at CALA Homes take pride in their level of expertise in the Aberdeen property market so we wanted to share this guidance and advice with those looking to become first time buyers in the area who perhaps have questions or uncertainties about the steps they need to take to discover their ideal first home.
“Our event at our Craibstone Estate development is tailored to new homebuyers with our team available to guide them through all aspects of their homebuying journey, from discovering what makes a home right for you all the way through to the mortgage process.
“We have seen a good demand for apartments over the past year with our apartments in particular proving popular with first time buyers taking advantage of support schemes.”
Prices for the collection of one- and two-bedroom apartments at the Craibstone Estate development start from £144,000, with 50% already sold. Find out more at www.cala.co.uk.
