Weekend Launch Of New Show Homes In Hamstreet
A new development which is bringing new homes and facilities to the Kent village of Hamstreet will open to the public this weekend, when the first properties will be released for sale.
Two new show homes – the three-bedroom ‘Spruce’ and four-bedroom ‘Aspen’ – will be unveiled at Bovis Homes’ Nightingale View on Saturday 29 and Sunday 30 April from 10.000am to 5.00pm.
Bovis Homes is building 78 homes at the development off Ashford Road, alongside a new woodland classroom, youth football pitch and car park for Hamstreet Primary Academy.
Millie Groves, marketing manager for Bovis Homes, said: “There has already been a great deal of interest in Nightingale View, especially because of the new facilities the development will bring for the village school. We are looking forward to welcoming the first visitors here for the launch weekend. The two show homes will give people a really good idea of the quality of the properties we are building.”
Nightingale View will include 46 three-, four- and five-bedroom houses for private sale and 32 affordable homes available for local people, alongside large areas of public open space, including an equipped children’s play area, footpaths and wildlife areas.
Hamstreet has its own useful shops and services including a primary school, doctor’s surgery, sports clubs and, just two minutes from Nightingale View, a railway station on the Eastbourne-Ashford line. The village is just off the A2070, six miles south of Ashford, a town with great shopping and leisure facilities including supermarkets, cinema, sports venues and its popular Designer Outlet. The M20 is seven miles away.
