A show home and sales office at a new housing development in Thurston are to open this month as Bovis Homes has announced the much-awaited on-site launch of Grange Park.

Bovis Homes, which is part of the Vistry Group, is building 129 homes on the site, off Barton Road, and has already released of the first properties for sale off-plan.

The development will feature two-, three-, four- and five-bedroom homes with 40 properties being allocated as affordable housing for rent or Shared Ownership.

Jason Colmer, sales and marketing director at Bovis Homes Eastern, said: “We have been inundated with enquiries since revealing our plans for Grange Park and we are anticipating a high level of interest from prospective purchasers keen to visit the development in person.

“The site is in an attractive rural location just five miles from Bury St Edmunds and within walking distance of the village centre. Thurston railway station, which is on the Ipswich to Cambridge line, is only half-a-mile from Grange Park, making this a particularly sought-after development for commuters.

“We are delivering a mix of housing from two-bedroom bungalows to five-bedroom detached houses which should appeal to a wide variety of buyers, from downsizers to growing families seeking more space.

“The opening of the sales office will allow our team to walk visitors around the site and to answer any questions they may have about the development any of the homes on offer.

“The show home will be the first chance people will have had to get a close-up look at a house which demonstrates the quality of construction and well-designed interiors of the properties we are building at the development.

“The ‘Aspen’ is a four-bedroom house which showcases the spaciousness and versatility of our larger detached properties. There’s a contemporary open-plan kitchen and dining area which is ideal for family time and entertaining, while the separate living room and ground-floor study enable a healthy division between work and home life.”

There is currently a selection of two-, three- and four-bedroom homes available to buy at Grange Park, with prices starting at £329,995. Find out more at bovishomes.co.uk.
