Housebuilder’s ‘Move Easy’ Events In Worcestershire This Weekend

Bloor Homes is giving people the opportunity to access free and impartial mortgage advice at its dedicated ‘Move Easy’ events across three developments in Worcestershire this coming Saturday 13 January.

Independent mortgage advisors from The Mortgage Brain, experts in mortgages for new build properties, will be on hand at Elgar Park at Lower Broadheath and Evesham Gate at Evesham to assist people with any queries they may have about buying a brand new home, even if they have a new home to sell. The Elgar Park event also covers The Grove in Worcester, which now only has 13 homes remaining.

Steve Garton, sales director at Bloor Homes’ Western region, explained: “We know how time-consuming, and in some cases how stressful it can be just to research all the options, especially while the mortgage rates are changing. That’s why we’re inviting people to come to one place on one day and find out all the information they need. By bringing the expertise to the developments, we want to make ‘fact finding’ as simple and easy for people as possible.”

Bloor Homes staff will also be on hand to discuss any incentives such as Assisted Move or Part Exchange for those with homes to sell, and to show people around the showhomes and development if they want to see more.

“If anyone does decide to reserve a new home with us at the weekend, that’s a bonus for us and for them too – as we’re offering an additional £1000 towards moving costs on selected plots,” added Garton.

Assisted Move, available on selected plots at all three developments, is Bloor Homes’ scheme to help people sell their home, providing support by arranging valuations for an existing property, instructing a local estate agency who knows the area to market the incumbent property at a price agreed in advance, keep vendors updated on their sale, reduce or even remove any fees, and take as much the hard work out of the selling process as possible, in order for people to secure their desired new home.

Part Exchange, available on selected plots at Evesham Gate and The Grove is exactly that – Bloor Homes will purchase an incumbent home at an agreed price, leaving the seller completely chain free – ideal for anyone looking to sell a property and move straight to a brand new home. It guarantees no waiting or time-wasters, and because there is no property chain, there’s no worry about whether a chain will complete in time either.

Elgar Park and Evesham Gate both have two-, three- and four-bedroom homes starting at £255,000 and £280,000 respectively, with desirable bungalows also available at Evesham Gate. Potential purchasers could also benefit from £7,000 cashback.

The Grove now only has a limited number of three- and four-bedroom homes remaining, starting at £300,000. Bloor Homes is offering a £7,000 deposit boost on selected plots to those who want to move home, but who may not yet have the required deposit.
