Hull-based Housebuilder’s Discount For NHS Workers

Beal Homes, which has developments in Hull, East Yorkshire and Lincolnshire, recently expanded its range of buyer assistance schemes with the offer of a 5% discount to purchasers who work in the National Health Service.

Sue Waudby, sales and marketing director at the family-owned housebuilder, said: Mrs Waudby added: “We appreciate NHS workers have far more important things to focus upon at this time of national emergency, but we wanted to do something to reward those health service staff who were already planning to move, or had begun the process. The discount is not time limited, so NHS staff will be able to benefit from it when this very difficult period has come to an end.”

For all buyers, the company is running its “Helping you make your move” package, which is aimed at overcoming that the limitations of social-distancing and self-isolation have had on the housing market.

The support under the scheme includes:

• Part Exchange.
• Smooth Move, a tailored and personal service will take care of much of the process of buying and selling whether moving up the housing ladder, downsizing or purchasing a comparable property.
• Flexible exchange, where Beal has pledged to be accommodating and understanding on contract exchanges dates in the current circumstances, providing peace of mind to both buyers and sellers.
• Launch Pad, an exclusive initiative, on selected plots, to help first-time buyers take their first step on the property ladder, offering them £5,000 towards their deposit, or to spend on extras and upgrades on their new home, as well as up to £1,000 towards legal fees.
• Six months’ mortgage paid on selected, ready-to-move-into view homes.

The housebuilder offers government-backed Help to Buy at all its developments.
