Special Offers From Housebuilder In The South East

Barratt Developments has some major deals on homes for sale at developments in the South East of England...

Barratt Developments, WhatHouse? Housebuilder of the Year 2019, has many live sites across the South East of England and right now, some excellent offers on some of the homes for sale.

The developments are available under the well-respected Barratt Homes and David Wilson Homes brands and between them have a real mix of property types to suit many buyer requirements and budgets. There are currently some substantial offers worth thousands of pounds on selected plots.

Oxfordshire

Letcombe Gardens is in Grove, just north of Wantage on the fringes of the North Wessex Downs AONB and around half-an-hour’s drive to Oxford. David Wilson Homes is offering a deposit boost on Plot 136 which is worth some £21,625. The ‘Highclere’ is a three-storey terraced house on a delightful crescent. It has a unique design which incorporates a very spacious kitchen/dining/living room on the first floor, an en suite master bedroom, a fourth bedroom/study, and an integral garage. This home is priced £432,500 and is ready to move into this year.

River Garden is not far away, in Stanford In The Vale, just east of Faringdon,and currently has a number of three- and four-bedroom homes for sale, with Help to Buy on some. One of them is Plot 147, the ‘Archford’, which is priced at £359,000 and right now comes with an offer of a £6,000 mortgage subsidy, as well as flooring included throughout. This home has a kitchen/diner with French doors to the garden, lounge, downstairs WC, two double bedrooms (one en suite), a single bedroom and a family bathroom. It comes with two parking spaces.

Kings Gate is in the well-served and well-connected town Abingdon, with three- and four-bedroom homes for sale from £437,500. There’s a special deal on Plot 1 at the moment. Priced at £559,000, it comes with a Stamp Duty paid deal worth £17,950. This impressive double-fronted, three-storey detached house has a double-aspect lounge, a kitchen/dining room with feature glazed bay and French doors to the garden, three double and one single bedroom (bedroom one comes with en suite and dressing area, a family bathroom and additional shower room. It also has a garage and private driveway.

The Chimes is in Chesterton, just outside Bicester, and has a varied range of three- and four-bedroom house types available, priced from £418,995 to £455,995, including some new releases. Help to Buy and Deposit Unlock schemes apply to some plots. There’s a very special offer on the ‘Wykham’ on Plot 37, which is a semi-detached three-bedroom house with highlights including a utility room of the kitchen/dining room, a specious lounge, an en suite to bedroom one and a single car port. Priced at £434,995, this property currently has a £15,000 deposit boost offer.

Bodicote, near Banbury, is where you’ll find a range of three-bedroom homes for sale at Whitechapel Gardens, with prices starting at £334,995. Plot 227 is the three-bedroom ‘Maidstone’ which has kitchen/dining room, separate lounge, WC, two double bedrooms, a single bedroom and a family bathroom. It is priced at £342,995 and buyers can currently get a £12,500 deposit boost from the housebuilder on this home.

Berkshire

The Chase @ Newbury RacecourseThe Chase @ Newbury Racecourse

The Chase @ Newbury Racecourse is part of a landmark development in a sought-after part of Berkshire. Some of the current properties are available with Help to Buy, and Part Exchange is also an option on some homes. There’s a great offer on the ‘Henwick’ house type, where the housebuilder will pay the Stamp Duty. Plot 364 is priced at £551,000 and this deal is worth £27,550. It’s a three-storey house, and one of it’s most-admired features is the view over the racecourse from the balcony of the kitchen/dining/living room. Both double bedrooms on the top floor have an en suite and one of the other double bedrooms could easily be used as a home office.

Donnington Heights is on the northern edge of Newbury and right now has two four bedroom ‘Holden’ houses for sale at £679,000. Plot 21 comes with flooring included and can be purchased with the 100% Part Exchange scheme. It’s a large detached home with very spacious kitchen/dining/family room, utility room, lounge, three double bedrooms (one with en suite), study, detached garage and three-car driveway.

Also in Newbury, Cherry Blossom Meadow is an apartment scheme that only has a few units left for sale, all priced at £249,950 and available through the government-backed Help to Buy scheme. Plot 78 in ‘Saxon House 2’ is one the ground floor and ready to move into this autumn. Right now it is offered with a £6,000 Mortgage subsidy, with £500 towards your monthly payments for 12 months. It has a double-aspect kitchen/living room, an en suite double bedroom, a single bedroom and comes with allocated parking.

Buckinghamshire

At Lavendon Fields, equidistant from Milton Keynes, Bedford and Northampton, David Wilson Homes currently has an impressive collection of four- and five-bedroom homes. Of several current offers, one of the most notable is on the five-bedroom ‘Glidewell’ on Plot 41. This 2,260-sq-ft home offers countryside views, kitchen/family room, separate dining room and lounge, a dedicated study, principal bedroom with en suite bathroom and dressing room, three more double bedrooms (one of which has its own en suite) and it comes with detached double garage and parking for four cars. The offer is worth a massive £42,000 – this includes a contribution towards your Stamp Duty fees and £22,000-worth of top-of-the-range kitchen, integrated appliances, granite worktop and flooring.

St Rumbold’s Fields is in Buckingham and currently offers three-bedroom homes priced from £319,995 to £405,000. There’s a special offer on Plot 249, the semi-detached ‘Norbury’, which comes with a double car port and is priced at £375,000. This home is set over three floors and features such things as living/dining room with separate kitchen, two double bedrooms and bathroom on the first floor and the master bedroom across the whole of the second floor, with en suite and dressing area. It is currently available through Barratt’s Movemaker scheme which means all estate agent fees are paif for by the housebuilder.

Hampshire

Bruneval Gardens is part of a new community in Wellesley, on the outskirts of Aldershot, and both Barratt Homes and David Wilson Homes are currently building their own collections of properties there. Barratt Homes has a range of apartments priced from £214,995. At £284,995, and available with Help to Buy, Plot 198 is a two-bedroom example which comes with an upgraded kitchen worth £3,275. This 765-sq-ft home comes with two double bedrooms (one en suite), a dual-aspect kitchen/living/dining room and two parking spaces.

David Wilson Homes has a four-bedroom house and a number of apartments for sale. One of them, Plot 367, comes with a £9,000 mortgage subsidy offer and is ready to move into by Christmas. It also comes with an upgraded lighting package and can be purchased through Help to Buy, with a further bonus of an education worker deposit contribution available. There’s handy storage off the hallway, a double bedroom, bathroom and spacious open-plan kitchen/living/dining room. It is priced at £230,000 and comes with allocated parking.

At Berewood Park in Waterlooville, there’s the advantage of easy access along the south coast and towards London thanks to its proximity to the A3 and A27. There’s also a local primary school rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted. Prices for two- and three-bedroom homes here start at £275,000, qualifying for Help to Buy. The ‘Alverton’ on Plot 220 is a two-bedroom coach house which comes with an upgraded kitchen. The kitchen/dining living room has a private balcony, both bedrooms are doubles and this home comes with its own car port/parking.
