Housebuilder’s New Releases At East Midlands Sites
Barratt Developments – a former WhatHouse? Housebuilder of the Year – has released a host of new homes at a number of its developments across the East Midlands.
Barratt Homes has just launched the very first properties King's Meadow in Melton Mowbray. When completed, it will have delivered a collection of 199 two-, three- and four-bedroom homes. One of the early releases is the ‘Denby’. This three-bedroom detached home is priced at £297,995. The ground floor has the integral single garage and a spacious L-shaped open-plan kitchen/dining/living room with French doors to the garden. There’s also a handy utility space and a cloakroom. All three of the bedrooms are generously sized doubles – bedroom one has an en suite and the others can share th family bathroom.

‘Manning’ house type
DWH at Roman’s Quarter is where sister brand David Wilson Homes has broadened the range of four- and five-bedroom houses for sale there. Plot 320 is the ‘Manning’, which is one of the largest homes currently for sale there and comes with a double garage. Kitchen/breakfast room at the rear has a feature glazed bay with French doors to the garden. A separate sitting room has its own doors to the garden, and the ground floor also has a dining room, utility room, cloakroom and study. Upstairs, are four double bedrooms, two of which come with en suite and fitted wardrobes. A family bathroom and a fifth, single bedroom completes the layout. This house is priced at £594,995.
David Wilson Homes at Kibworth is now 90% sold out but just released ar a couple of the final four-bedroom houses. Plot 3 is the ‘Layton’, a detached former show house. Fernwood Village is taking shape just outside Newark and Phases 1 and 2 are both selling fast. ‘Ingleby’ house type
Grange View is in Hugglescote and has a range of four- and five-bedroom house types available. One of the latest to be released is the ‘Ingleby’. Glenvale Park is a development in Wellingborough where Barratt Homes is currently offering three- and four-bedroom houses priced from £277,995. Plot 30 has recently been released for sale, called the ‘Wilbye’, and it is a three-bedroom semi-detached house that could be perfect for first-time buyers or a young family. There’s a lobby off which is a lounge, an open-plan kitchen/dining room leading to the garden, some useful storage under the stairs, and a cloakroom. Bedroom one comes with an en suite shower room and the others can share the family bathroom. This home is priced from £298,995.
