Offers Right Now At Housebuilder’s Merseyside Developments

Barratt Developments has a number of properties available with different special offers if reserved by the end of August 2022...

Barratt Developments – the former WhatHouse? Housebuilder of the Year which sells new homes under its Barratt Homes and David Wilson Homes brands – has some great offers on selected plots at its developments across Merseyside.

Both brands are available at Pinewood Park in Formby. Set within a picturesque area conserved by the National Trust, homes here are within walking distance of beaches, iconic sand dunes and coastal pinewoods, making this a beautiful place for anyone to live. 'Outstanding' primary and secondary schools in the area also make this a place for families consider. For commuting, Liverpool is just half-an-hour away.

With Barratt Homes, house-hunters will find two- and three-bedroom properties priced from £249,995 to £347,995. Plot 49, the ‘Ashmoor’, a three-storey house which comes with two parking spaces. Ready to move into, for a limited time this house comes with £3,000-worth of flooring and a £1,000 contribution towards your moving costs. There’s a kitchen and separate living/dining room, cloakroom, two double bedrooms, single bedroom, bathroom and sizeable storage cupboards off the landings.

David Wilson Homes is selling a variety of three- and four-bedroom house types with starter prices ranging from £325,000 to £520,200, with some set to be ready to move into this year. House-hunters can ask about assistance schemes such as Deposit Unlock and Part Xchange Xtra. The Home of the Week here is Plot 156, a ‘Kennett’ house type. This is another deceptively spacious property, being set over three storeys. There’s a lounge, kitchen/diner and cloakroom on the ground floor; two double bedrooms and a bathroom on the first floor, and the top floor is dedicated to the main bedroom and its en suite. Reserve by 31 August 2022 and the housebuilder will contribute £5,000 towards your move.

‘Lutterworth’‘Lutterworth’ house type

In Thornton, just north of Liverpool, is Sundial Place from Barratt Homes. Right now, there’s a choice of three- and four-bedroom homes to consider, with starting prices between £267,750 and £345,000. It offers convenient access to excellent shopping, the coastline, country parks, Formby Nature Reserve, esteemed golf clubs, and the M57 and M58. One of the selected properties with a special offer until the end of this month is the ‘Lutterworth’ on Plot 145, a design that stands out as a corner property and comes with a long private driveway. Priced at £332,000, it’s the only three-bedroom detached home that will be ready to move into in 2022 and if reserved before 31 August 2022, comes with upgraded kitchen, flooring and blinds. There’s a lounge, kitchen/dining room, cloakroom, bathroom, two double bedrooms (one with en suite) and a single bedroom.

Pavilion Gardens is a David Wilson Homes scheme in Southport, just a 10-minute walk from local shops and restaurants and a couple of miles from the town centre and railway station. The beach, amusement park and numerous feature facilities are just a little further. Both Preston and Liverpool are around 45 minutes away by road. There are currently a number of one-, three- and four-bedroom properties for sale there which could suit all sorts of requirements and budgets. Plot 5, The Calder’, could make a perfect first home, being a one-bedroom apartments which is available through Help to Buy. Priced from £148,700, this would require a 5% deposit from £7,435 and a mortgage from £111,525. Anyone who reserves this home by 31 August 2022 will get an upgraded kitchen to enhance their home. The bedroom is a generous double, there’s an open-plan kitchen/dining/living room and plenty of built-in storage. This home comes with a single detached garage.

On the same site on the edge of Southport is Victoria Mews from Barratt Homes, where there are three- and four-bedroom house designs current available. The housebuilder is offering its Movemaker and Key Worker Deposit Contribution schemes on selected plots. There’s also an opportunity to ‘part buy-part rent’ a brand new four-bedroom house with the Home Reach initiative, where a qualifying house-hunter can purchase from 50% of the home and pay rent on the remainder, with an opportunity to purchase further shares later. The ‘Woodcote’ is a three-floor, semi-detached house type. The lounge/dining room is at the rear and has an attractive glazed bay with French doors to the garden. The separate kitchen is at the front of the home. On the first floor are a family bathroom and three bedrooms (two of them doubles). Bedroom one has the entire top floor and benefits from an en suite, dressing area, and some storage off the landing. A 50% share is priced at £147,500 (full market price £295,000).

For buying outright, Plot 104, the ‘Moresby’, currently comes with a deal where Barratt Homes will contribute £5,000 towards your deposit if you reserve it by the end of the month. This house type has kitchen/dining room, lounge, two double bedrooms (one with en suite shower room), a single bedroom and a bathroom. This home starts at £275,000.
