Respected housebuilder Barwood Homes has some special deals on selected properties at its popular Romney Meadows development in the Buckinghamshire village of Quainton.

Romney Meadows is bringing a wide range of new two-, three-, four- and five-bedroom homes to the appealing village, which is situated around 20 minutes from Aylesbury, Leighton Buzzard and Bicester. These new homes are just a five-minute walk from the centre of Quainton, famous for the windmill that overlooks the pretty cottages around the village green.

The housebuilder’s own Home of the Week is Plot 22. A buyer reserving this home before the end of February with get a Peloton bike+, plus a year’s membership to the fitness club. This detached home, offering 1,582 sq ft of living, is called the ‘Loseley’ and its ‘hub’ is the spacious, open-plan fitted kitchen/dining/family room. This has double doors to a separate living room with feature fireplace. Both rooms have French doors to the rear garden. The off-kitchen utility room also has its open door to the outside – somewhere to take off the muddy boots and with its own basin, worktop and storage. Upstairs, all four bedrooms are comfortable doubles, with an en suite to bedroom one. The other bedrooms share the family bathroom, which comes with a bath and separate walk-in shower. ‘Loseley’‘Loseley’ house type

‘Holdenby’‘Holdenby’ house type

The specification for homes at Romney Gardens includes double-glazed windows and front and rear doors with three-point locking systems and external lighting. There’s central heating, delayed start thermostats and dual-zone heating. There are TV points to the lounge and bedrooms and a master BT point with a double socket in the hallway. Utility rooms are set up to accommodate a washing machine and washer/tumble dryer. Bathrooms, kitchens, cloakrooms and utility rooms have ceramic floors in the four- and five-bedroom homes.
