Upcoming Virtual Help To Buy Event For Milton Keynes First-Timers

Posted 14 February 2022 by Keith Osborne

Barratt Homes is hosting an online event to inform first-time buyers about Help to Buy at its Fairfields development...

First-time buyers in Milton Keynes can take away valuable mortgage advice and learn more about Help to Buy at Barratt Homes’ upcoming virtual event.

Taking place on Saturday 19 February, with sessions at 10.00am and 1.00pm, the event will offer keen house-hunters the chance to take away expert advice from the Fairfields development’s sales team as well as a new build mortgage advisor and panel solicitor.

Those in attendance will also be given an insight from Barratt Homes into the Help to Buy scheme, which is an ideal moving tool for anyone seeking a helping hand in raising a deposit for a first home.

Prospective buyers tuning in to the event can take comfort in the benefits of ‘virtual house-hunting’, such as being able to search for a property without having to leave their own home. It also means they can fit the session into busy weekend plans, which is ideal for anyone looking to relocate.

Alison Raine, sales director at Barratt Homes Northampton, said: “Purchasing a home is the biggest investment you’re likely to make and we’ve arranged this virtual event to ensure first-time buyers have all the information they need ahead of stepping onto the property ladder.

Fairfields“We’ll be ready to answer questions from those in attendance and will provide a greater understanding about Help to Buy, whilst further guidance will also come from an independent new build mortgage adviser and panel solicitor on the day about obtaining a mortgage and the whole moving process.

“Following the event, we’d encourage anyone interested in learning more to book an appointment with a sales advisor at our Fairfields development, as there’s nothing like seeing a community and the properties for yourself.”

Throughout the event, Barratt Homes will showcase its range of one- and two- bedroom apartments at Fairfields and will end each session with a Q&A for anyone hoping to take the chance to learn more from the experts on hand.

With Help to Buy, first-time buyers are able to purchase a home with just a 5% deposit and a 75% mortgage. The remaining 20% is funded by an equity loan, interest-free for the first five years and repayable on the sale on the home.

Fairfields currently has one- and two-bedroom apartments on sale starting from £221,995. Find out more from Barratt Homes.
