Barratt London is opening the doors to new apartments and townhouses at two schemes in the London Borough of Barnet...

Barratt London – part of Barratt Developments, last year named WhatHouse? Housebuilder of the Year – has announced the launch of new phases at two major developments in north-west London.

Being unveiled on Saturday 31 October are the Harp View Apartments, the latest release of new homes at Hendon Waterside in NW9. This will include 143 one- and two-bedroom apartments housed in a 20-storey tower, boasting panoramic views on the bank of the Welsh Harp Reservoir. The reservoir is a Site of Special Scientific Interest, where residents can enjoy exploring the surrounding woods, trails and footpaths.

The development incorporates landscaped courtyard gardens, with The Green park running through the communal outdoor space. Hendon railway station is a seven-minute walk away and offers services to London St Pancras International in just 17 minutes, while nearby Hendon Central tube station, travel zone 3 and 4, is on the Northern Line, with speedy services to Euston, and the Brent Cross shopping centre is only a 10-minute bus ride away.

Prices at Harp View Apartments are expected to start from £380,000 for a one-bedroom apartment, with completions expected in 2022.

In NW7 is Millbrook Place, where the housebuilder has just released two new collections of homes. Poppy Mews is a range of seven new three- and four-bedroom townhouses and Buttercup Apartments is a building of 18 new one- and two-bedroom properties.

Once complete, Millbrook Park development will comprise one-, two-, three- and four-bedroom homes, including 345 new apartments and 10 new houses, situated in popular Mill Hill. Part of a growing neighbourhood, residents will also benefit from access to an on-site primary school, brand new parks, a public piazza and the Millbrook Plaza, which will house shops, offices and restaurants. Millbrook Park is ideal for commuters, with Mill Hill East underground station located opposite the development, offering regular services to Euston Station in just 20 minutes. Millbrook Park is built on the former Inglis Army Barracks site, with the barracks in use from 1905 until 2007. Parking is included with all homes.

The starting price for Poppy Mews is £982,000 for a three-bedroom townhouse, with estimated completions in 2021/2022. For Buttercup Apartments, a one-bedroom home starts at £419,000, with estimated completions in Summer 2021.
