First Homes For Sale At Formby Scheme

Posted 28 January 2021 by Keith Osborne

Barratt Homes has officially launched Pinewood Park by releasing the first homes there, a range of three-bedroom houses...

Keen property seekers in Merseyside are being encouraged to take a look at Barratt Homes’ development in Formby now that homes are officially available to reserve.

Located on Liverpool Road is Pinewood Park, where the housebuilder is offering the first three-bedroom homes, priced from £257,995. Buyers with a home to sell can ask about Barratt’s Part Exchange Xtra initiative.

Michaela Lancaster, sales director at Barratt Homes Manchester, said: “We are delighted to announce that fantastic new homes at Pinewood Park are now on sale. The development is perfectly located with amenities and excellent schools close by as well as being just a short drive away from the beautiful coastline of Formby beach.

“Pinewood Park is open on an appointment only basis, so I would encourage anyone interested to visit the website or call the sales line to book an appointment with a sales adviser.”

Formby is the perfect place for spotting wildlife and getting back to nature as it’s surrounded by a wealth of beauty and culture.

With the coast only two miles from the front door at Pinewood Park, residents are able to take a stroll along the beautiful Formby beach after a hard day’s work and unwind, enjoying their natural surroundings. Findings from BlueHealth, a programme researching the benefits of blue space across 18 (mainly European) cities, have shown that there are three ways which connects the proximity to water with health, wellbeing, and happiness.

The beneficial environmental factors that living near to blue space means less exposure to polluted air and more sunlight. People living by water also have a tendency to get more physical exercise thanks to taking part in activities such as water sports, walking, and cycling. Furthermore, water appears to have a psychologically restorative effect over other natural environments, and research from BlueHealth has shown that blue space induces positive mood and reduces negative mood and stress more than green space.

As part of the wider new destination, the coastal Merseyside town is seeing an investment of more than £200,000 being delivered in Formby and the surrounding areas as part of its planning agreement with Sefton Borough Council.
