Launch Of More New Homes In Cambridge

The first of 411 homes at a brand new Cambridge development by Barratt Homes have now been released for sale.

Barratt Homes Eastern Counties is building two- to five-bedroom properties at Franklin Gardens, off Cambridge Road, as part of the wider Darwin Green neighbourhood on the northern edge of the city. Of the homes being built, 164 will be allocated as affordable for rent or Shared Ownership, and the development now has a wide range of homes to reserve following the launch of a temporary onsite sales cabin.

Homebuyers at Franklin Gardens are being granted up to £32,000 to ‘spend their way’ and can receive a flooring package when purchasing a selected new property at the development. The limited-time deal is available to those completing on homes before Friday 30th June, and enables the housebuilder’s customers to choose what they would like to put the money towards, including a contribution towards a deposit, mortgage payments, or moving costs.

On the date of legal completion, for every £20,000 of the purchase price of the property, the developer will pay the homebuyer £1,000 to ‘spend their way’ on the three options. For example, when purchasing a property with a price of £325,000, Barratt Homes will provide £16,250.

The new homes at Franklin Gardens are set in a welcoming community with tree-lined streets just a stroll away from new schools on the development. This new address is only a short drive from the A14 and Madingley Road Park and Ride, and homebuyers can benefit from nearby shops, sports and healthcare facilities and a brand new supermarket all in walking distance.
