A Few Homes Remain For Sale At Warwickshire Scheme

Posted 16 February 2021 by Keith Osborne

Just five three- and four-bedroom houses are still available from Barratt Homes at its Warwick Gates development...

Time is running out for Warwickshire homebuyers looking to reserve one of the last properties at Barratt Homes’ Warwick Gates development in Heathcote.

The Harper Close development currently has only five homes left for keen homebuyers to consider, including three and four bedroom properties ideal for growing families starting from £368,995.

Warwick Gates is surrounded by open space and with more buyers than ever now looking for a country escape these properties tick all of the boxes. Savills property agents interviewed 700 registered buyers and sellers during the first lockdown in April 2020 to explore their new attitudes. 42% of respondents under 40 expressed the inclination to upsize with the desire for a garden becoming a more pressing consideration.

In addition to this, the want for space and greater emphasis on the outdoors was expressed with four in 10 now looking for a village location and 54% of respondents with school-age children, now finding the idea of a countryside location more attractive than pre Covid-19. In addition, Warwick Gates has been designed with a range of public open spaces with mature trees and greenery to attract wildlife.

Tanya Silk, sales director at Barratt Homes West Midlands, said: “We’re thrilled to see so many Warwickshire buyers reaping the benefits of living at our Warwick Gates development. Homes at Warwick Gates are located in the historic setting of Warwick where there is lots to explore and discover. In addition, homebuyers are close to the Cotswolds, offering a quick escape to the beautiful scenic surroundings and local nature walks.”

As a thank you to NHS staff, who have shown courage in the face of the Covid-19 crisis, Barratt Homes launched a 5% Deposit Scheme contribution towards their deposit, for all NHS workers, which will be offered until this summer.
