April launch for new homes in Digbeth, Birmingham

Posted 4 April 2016 by Keith Osborne

A collection of new apartments is coming to central Birmingham this month, with agent Connells New Homes arranging special launch events...

Connells launches a brand new development in Birmingham’s creative quarter Digbeth this April, where 170 one- and two-bedroom apartments are being built to offer high-quality city centre living.

St Anne’s Court will comprise 144 one-bedroom properties and 26 two-bedroom homes, with a starting price of £160,000. Inside and out, these homes have an appealing contemporary look which complements Digbeth’s historic buildings.

The public launch for these properties is 19 April, with a special pre-launch event on 14 April by appointment, for those who want to be ahead of the pack.

Nerys Viner, Connells New Homes area director, says:  “St Anne’s Court is a superb development offering the best in contemporary urban living and we are thrilled to be the sole agent to market these outstanding new apartments.

“Birmingham city is a vibrant city with a real buzz about it. It’s a property hot spot with new build sites selling out in record speed. For buy-to-let investors in particular, Birmingham is an excellent environment as there is the opportunity for capital growth plus the potential for healthy yields.

“We would advise prospective buyers to register their interest in these new apartments as soon as possible as we don’t anticipate them staying on the market for long.”

Internally, the apartments at St Anne’s Court offer generous open-plan living, hand-crafted kitchens with integrated appliances and high-specification bathrooms. Residents also get underground parking and an exclusive 483m² roof garden with views across the city’s skyline.

Digbeth is one of the up-and-coming area’s benefitting from The Big City Plan urban regeneration project, which is bringing hundreds of new homes, additional retail space and the latest standards of amenities, including a new tramline.

The aim for Digbeth is to make it a desirable residential quarter with easy access to the commercial district, the Bullring, Moor Street and New Street train stations, the city’s universities centres and the proposed new HS2 terminal.

The Connells events St Anne’s Court both from 5.00pm to 8.00pm on the dates above.
