Last Day For Current Help To Buy At Pease Pottage Scheme
Posted 15 December 2020 by
Keith OsborneTuesday 15 December is the final day to reserve a new home using the current government-backed Help to Buy equity loan initiative, and Alphium – the newest brand from developer The Thakeham Group – has homes to consider at its Woodgate development in Pease Pottage, West Sussex.
Green Reach is the latest phase of homes and presents the perfect opportunity for first-time buyers and second-steppers looking to move quickly; now over 60% sold, a selection of two-bedroom apartments and two- and three-bedroom houses are either ready to move into or completed by the March deadline.
After today, the new Help to Buy scheme will only be open to first-time buyers and only on new homes up to a regional maximum price – in the case of the South East of England, £437,600 (compared to £600,000 under the ‘old’ scheme).
With an abundance of outside space as well as new facilities including a village green, a primary school and community-run shop, buyers at Woodgate can embrace all the benefits of rural living without giving up on the convenience of convenient travel links. Woodgate is ideally placed for residents to enjoy the varied amenities, services and train links in nearby Crawley (three miles) and historic Horsham (seven miles).
Prices start from £272,500 for a two-bedroom apartment at Green Reach and from £340,000 for a two-bedroom home. Help to Buy is available on all plots and buyers pay no Stamp Duty at all if they complete on their purchase by 31 March 2021.
