Cheshire Homes get Top Marks and Instant Sale

Posted 16 March 2020 by Katie Sakka

Green living has been given the greenlight by Cheshire buyers with an instant sale at the launch of a new housing development.

Archway Homes is funding measures to make properties at Lime Tree Grange, Cheshire Oaks, more efficient to run and kinder to the environment. Each of the seven homes at the select development will feature solar panels and electric vehicle charging points, at no extra cost to homeowners. A-rated heating systems and kitchen appliances will be included as standard, along with extra loft insulation.

The development will include hedgehog highways to enable hedgehogs to travel from area to area, obstruction free. Homeowners will be given bird boxes and bug hotels to encourage wildlife.

“Consumer consciousness is shifting, and people are increasingly looking at ways to reduce their impact on the planet. We’ve been looking at how we can help by making small changes to our homes that could make a big difference to the environment. The homes we’re building at Lime Tree Grange feature a new, improved, more energy-efficient specification as this first step in our Green Agenda.

“The development has been well-received with a reservation during the launch weekend and strong interest in the other six homes. People love the idea of living in a home that benefits from solar panels with an ‘i-boost’ function to produce electricity, with surplus solar energy used to heat the hot water. The advantage to homeowners is that as well as being kinder to the environment, they should save on their energy bills too.” Samantha Dean, Sales Manager, Archway Homes

Lime Tree Grange offers a choice of four-bedroom detached family homes, with current prices from £389,995 for a Pine style property. The Pine features a spacious lounge to the front, with open plan kitchen, breakfast area and family spanning the rear. The dedicated dining room adjoins the kitchen. There’s also a study, perfect for occasional home working, plus a utility and cloakroom. Upstairs, two of the four bedrooms benefit from an en-suite, to complement the family bathroom.

Homes at Lime Tree Grange are currently being sold “off plan”. Archway Homes is also building in nearby Eastham and those considering moving to Lime Tree Grange can make an appointment to visit Eastham Fields to view the show home there.

Archway homes are sold ready to move into, with flooring throughout; a choice of fitted kitchens, with integrated NEFF appliances; plus, gardens with turf and planting.

Homes at Lime Tree Grange will feature the company’s new specification, designed to ensure all Archway Homes achieve an Energy Performance Certificate A-rating. This is the first step in a long process towards achieving the government’s long-term ambitions for all houses to be built to the zero carbon standard.
