London-Inspired Interiors At Luxury Hertfordshire Development

Posted 5 October 2021 by Keith Osborne

There are two colour stylings offered in the houses at Amara Property's Little Saddles in Shenley...

Amara Property is offering buyers a choice of two of interior design colour palettes at the exclusive Little Saddles development in Shenley, Hertfordshire.

Rutu Buddhdev, managing director at Amara Property, commented: “Our aim for the homes at Little Saddles was to create interiors that offer the same level of luxury, style and finish as a high-end home in prime central London. To achieve this, we curated the Contemporary palette for buyers to choose from, which includes designer pieces of furniture from Kelley Hoppen, whilst the Classic palette provides a product that is truer to its countryside setting.”

The Classic palette tastefully combines soft light colours with natural material choices, whilst the Contemporary palette provides bold colours with a clean design that is reflective of the bespoke Amara Property style.

Homes designed with the Classic palette features Graphite and Cashmere shaker-style Hacker Kitchens with Quartz Calacatta Gold stone worktops, grey parquet herringbone-style flooring and dark grey internal doors. The bathrooms include black tap and shower frames with marble effect tiling throughout.

The Contemporary homes are characterised by Black Steel and White Matt modern-style Hacker Kitchens with Nuevo Spring stone worktops and grey mirrored splashbacks, Wenge flooring and medium grey internal doors and stone effect tiled bathrooms.

Buddhdev added: “Our interior packages contrast but also complement one another greatly, so if a purchaser really likes different aspects of both palettes, then we can work with them to deliver their desired finish. We often see similar developments with interiors that are neutral or beige and leave the buyers to it, but we strive to provide a product that is one-of-a-kind, which at this end of the market is what our clientele expects.”

Following the typical layout of a Little Saddles house, each home typically measures 2,530 sq ft and is accessed via a large entrance hallway, complete with ample hidden storage cupboards, which leads onto a spacious reception/living room with a hanging chandelier. Bathed in natural light through a wide bay window, the reception/living room also includes a bioethanol fireplace and built-in Sonos speakers.

Little SaddlesAcross the hallway is a private study, with an impressive open-plan kitchen, dining and living room are present at the rear of the ground floor. Wooden flooring is present throughout the ground floor, whilst each room features original artworks, chosen to complement the chosen furnishings and add a splash of colour.

The kitchen provides integrated state-of-the-art Bosch and Samsung appliances with an American-style fridge-freezer and a kitchen island doubling as a breakfast bar/food prep station. Suspended above the dining room table is a skylight, adding a touch of sparkle to the room, whilst the family/living area offers the perfect breakout area with built-in ceiling Sonos speakers across the whole space.

Large bifold doors lead onto the landscaped garden, whilst a utility room/pantry and guest cloakroom are also present on the ground floor.

Little SaddlesThe second floor comprises the main living quarters, with a master bedroom suite, guest bedroom suite and two further bedrooms adjacent to a large family bathroom. Plush carpets combined with a dark grey padded headboard and neutral wall colours offer a sense of understated luxury in the Contemporary palette, whilst cream walls, gold padded headboard and a feature chandelier add a light touch to homes designed with the Classic furniture package.

Perfect for families, a large bathroom adjoins the two bedrooms suitable for young or adolescent children, whilst the larger guest bedroom and master have en suites. Each bathroom has been fitted with Porcelanosa slate tiled walls and floors, with a walk-in glass shower, full-length mirror and heated towel rails. The showers and taps are Crosswater, whilst Duravit sinks with over counter feature sinks add a seamless touch to the space.

Little SaddlesOne of the main features of the upper floor is the vast natural light that floods in through large windows and vaulted ceiling in the master bedroom.

Built to be as energy efficient and sustainable as possible, each home at Little Saddles features air source heat pumps, EcoSlide woodgrain windows and underfloor heating throughout.

Located just off Radlett Lane, Little Saddles is on the outskirts of Shenley, a picturesque village in Hertfordshire, just under an hour from central London. Close to the development are some of the country’s finest Primary and Secondary Schools with the renowned old Manor Lodge and Haberdasher’s Aske’s Boys’ Schools are located just a stone’s throw away. The remaining homes range from £950,000 to £1.35million. Find out more at www.littlesaddles.co.uk.
