Warminsters location couldnt be better for the great outdoors Salisbury Plain and the Cranborne Chase Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty are right on your doorstep offering the best of South Wiltshire and North Dorsets countryside.

Warminster has a lovely character that will make you feel at home. For families, theres a fantastic park near the centre with a lake to enjoy. There are interesting shops and caf s to discover and a choice of supermarkets for your weekly shop. As well as being home to Stonehenge, Salisbury Plain has always been an important training area for the army, and its long-standing presence in the garrison town to the east of Warminster is very positive for the local economy. Its great to live somewhere that feels historic, at the same time as having all the amenities you need for daily life. The train station is a bonus too. Its on the Wessex mainline, giving you a quick and easy link with Westbury and Salisbury for direct services to London Paddington and London Waterloo.

A new home at Charles Church @ Jubilee Gardens promises a great community, great countryside and great connections.

Shopping

The main supermarkets in the town are a Tesco Express, Waitrose and Morrisons. The historic High Street and Market Place have some lovely independent shops alongside some of the national brands and you'll discover friendly caf£s and restaurants here too. There's a very well-thought-of secondary school as well as a famous independent school, another balance that's good for the town. Pubs, restaurants, a sports centre, a golf course and the fabulous Warminster Lakeside Pleasure Grounds make this a place that will suit families and professionals alike. It's a lovely hometown.

Transport

Two excellent cross-country routes, the A36 and the A350, meet in Warminster. Both routes connect with the A303, one of the South West's key roads. The A36 links Salisbury and Bath and the A350 joins the M4 just above Chippenham to the north and Shaftesbury and Blandford Forum to the south. Trains to Westbury, for a connection to London Paddington, take just 8 minutes and to Salisbury, for a connection to London Waterloo, services take 20 minutes. For international and domestic flights, Bristol Airport is about an hour's drive away, just to the south of the city.

Leisure

Warminster is close to Longleat where both the Safari Park and Centre Parcs in Longleat Forest are family favourites. You can get a full-day visitor pass for Centre Parcs. Frome is well worth a visit. It has a range of wonderful artisan shops in cobbled St Catherine's and an amazing monthly street market ' The Frome Independent. For a long walk in the countryside set off into Salisbury Plain or the Cranborne Chase for beautiful countryside, pretty villages and country pubs. For a different sort of day out, and some excellent shopping, Bath and Salisbury are near enough for a perfect day trip.

 Health and Wellbeing
3.8
Since the outbreak of Covid in 2020, the health and quality of life for ourselves and our families has become more of a priority than ever, and one of the fundamental considerations in choosing where we live. There are a host of ingredients in measuring this, and we calculate our Health & Wellbeing rating using many factors.
 Transport Links
4.1
Being within easy reach of people and places for work or leisure is a top consideration when choosing your brand new home. Can you commute easily by private or public transport, and are there routes to close by for the places you’ll want to go to? Would it be safe to leave the car at home and cycle somewhere instead? Are there convenient EV charging points in the local area?
 Mobile Connectivity
3.2
In our digital world, it’s ever more important to ensure the range and quality of services for phones and other devices can handle daily demands.  We calculate our mobile connectivity rating to include the strength and reliability of mobile signals and broadband speeds.
 Finance
2.7
Finances are the fundamental thing on which our choice of new home is based, but aside from what you can afford to borrow and the price cap you must consider, there’s the ongoing running costs to consider too, and what may happen to the value of your home before you sell it in the future.
 Education and Amenities
4.0
Education and Amenities covers things which are vital to everyday life, whether it’s somewhere to buy groceries and other essentials, a place to enjoy leisure time and for families, an area with schooling which is easy to get to from home
