Feature Development: Coastlands, Hythe

Posted 2 January 2024 by Keith Osborne

Award-winning Wedgewood Homes is marketing luxury sea-view apartments at Coastlands, its latest development in Hythe…

Wedgewood Homes – a recent winner of a prestigious WhatHouse? Award – is selling an exclusive collection of high-specification apartments at a development called Coastlands, in the Kent seaside town of Hythe.

This site was awarded Gold in the Best Apartment Scheme category and comprises just eight apartments and penthouses with exceptional views across the English Channel and Strait of Dover.

The apartments have an open-plan, fully fitted kitchen/living room, contemporary bathrooms and en suites, wardrobes to every bedroom, a secure video entry system and sliding doors to a private balcony or terrace from which to enjoy the scenic panorama. The impressive specification includes energy-efficient air source heat pump and underfloor heating, eco-friendly ways of keeping the power bills to a minimum. An allocated electric vehicle charging point and cycle storage for every apartment are further ways to reduce impact of the environment.

Coastlands from Wedgewood HomesIt's just a 12-minute walk from a section of Hythe’s long shingle beach and esplanade, and the town centre is under two miles away, with a fine range of shops, supermarkets and amenities as well as numerous highly rated pubs, restaurants and cafés. Folkestone West station, a short drive away from home, is served by National Rail and High Speed services.

The location on Naildown Road neighbours Sene Valley Golf Club and is just a few minutes from the border of the Kent Downs AONB.

Mathew Carpenter, managing director of Wedgewood Homes, has commented: “At Wedgewood Homes we have established an excellent reputation for developing quality new homes, with all aspects of our developments controlled in house by our team of designers, architects and project managers. The experience and abilities of our teams ensure that high quality and attention to detail flow through every inch of our new homes.”

Prices for the remaining three available apartments here start at £560,000 and there are a couple of fully dressed show homes to visit.
