At Tornagrain, around eight miles from Inverness, is the 'Kerrowaird', a charming four-bedroom home featuring modern country design with desirable period features such as a wood-burning stove, sash windows and high ceilings. This family home also features a garden room which would make the perfect spot to work from home. I could make the ideal family home with three spacious double bedrooms upstairs and one smaller bedroom that still provides plenty of space for a kids’ room or home office. This home is priced at £375,000.
Tornagrain is inspired by historic urban towns of the region, such as Nairn, Grantown-on-Spey and Fort William, and is building homes in the local vernacular design and materials such as slate, stone and wet dash render in order to fit in to the area. The community will benefit from lots of outdoor spaces to enjoy such as tennis courts, an allotment, and woodland walks. Local forests and the Cairngorms provide a whole variety of options for cyclists, hikers and dog walkers.
