Helen ChristieIt’s been more than a year since properties were last for sale at Coton Park, Long Hassocks, and developer Persimmon Homes expects this third and final phase to be much in demand.
Sarah Preston, sales director for Persimmon Homes Central, says: “We are thrilled that we are able to offer the first properties when we launched Coton Park Phase 3. The level of interest from prospective buyers has already shown us how much demand there is in this area, so we can’t wait to start helping local people into their new homes.”
The development of 224 properties includes 67 affordable homes (30%) and is a mix of one-bedroom maisonettes, two- and three-bedroom semis and terraced, and four- and five-bedroom detached properties to suit a range of buyers. The first homes available to buy will include two-, three-, four- and five-bedroom houses.
The development represents an investment by Persimmon of £32m. And as part of the planning approval from Rugby Borough Council Persimmon is set to contribute almost £4.8m to the local community, including: £3.1m into education; £993k into highways and £338.8k into public transport; and £403.8k into the NHS.
Sarah adds: “With the many attractions of Rugby on the doorstep, along with good local schools, a range of great leisure facilities in the vicinity, and excellent transport links to Birmingham and London, we are confident that this fantastic location is set to suit a variety of homeowners.
“Buyers reserving the first properties off-plan will have the pick of the plots and chance to tailor their new home with a wide range of Finishing Touches options, such as a choice of kitchen colours and finishes, bathroom tiling or fitted wardrobes. And those with an existing property to sell can ask about our Part Exchange or Home Change schemes, which can save significant time and money.”
