Sales Success At New Berkhamsted Luxury Scheme

Keith OsborneWhatHouse? Award-winning luxury home specialist Octagon has reported great sales success at Hadfield Place, a collection of five new build family homes in the sought-after historic market town of Berkhamsted.
With the latest RICS Residential Market Survey reporting that December marked the fourth consecutive month that saw an increase in new buyer demand, whilst the number of available homes remained in negative territory for a ninth consecutive month. Competition is fierce on new homes coming to the market and Hadfield Place is fully reserved within three weeks of launching.
Set in 1.73 acres, within commuting distance of London, each of the homes is bespoke in design and uses materials that complement the local vernacular, drawing interest from local buyers as well as families moving out of London.
Tim Banks, CEO of Octagon Developments, commented: “The design of Hadfield Place is a departure from the style of houses Octagon has become known for over the last 40 years. It is testament to our design and development team’s intrinsic understanding of our clientele that the project has sold through so quickly.”
Laura Hackney, partner at Knight Frank, the instructed agent for Hadfield Place, commented: “Demand for detached properties within commutable distance of London continues to outstrip supply – we are finding that homes are selling before we have even had a chance to list them on a property portal. Quality new build properties with 2022 completion dates are particularly scarce, especially those with such a unique character and design.”
Guide prices are from £1.25million and completion expected in Autumn 2022. Find out more at www.octagon.co.uk.
