London Square to develop new homes in Parsons Green

Posted 7 February 2014 by Keith Osborne

Residential property developer London Square plans to construct a selection of new-build homes in Parsons Green, after acquiring a prime development site at 100 New Kings Road.

The 0.2 acre site, a former office building, has been purchased from New Kings Road (Jersey) No.1 Ltd with planning permission to provide a new residential scheme featuring up to 25 private apartments, as well as a separate retail unit. Building work is scheduled to get underway next month.

"This is our second site in the Fulham area and reflects our interest in this part of west London," said Brian Betsy, managing director of London Square. "This site will contribute to our expanding £1bn portfolio and illustrates our appetite for more sites in good locations."

Betsy continued: "The leafy green neighbourhood of Parsons Green is one of the capital's most sought-after addresses, with designer fashion shops, fine dining restaurants, health clubs and delicatessens, blending smart village charm with chic city living."

London Square, which recently started building work on a £130m residential square in Farm Lane in Fulham, currently has ten sites in the capital and was recognised at the 2013 What House? Awards.
