Posted 7 September 2023 by Keith Osborne

A new collection of studios, one- and two-bedroom apartments is now for sale at the major Greenwich Peninsula project...

Developer Knight Dragon has just unveiled a collection of new apartments called Parkview, the penultimate building in the Peninsula Gardens neighbourhood in the south-east of London.

There are 66 studios, one- and two-bedroom units positioned on the development between Central Park and the River Thames, with views across the park, and towards Canary Wharf. The 11-storey building as a large residents’ lounge and lobby, and co-working space on the ground floor. Residents also have access to Aperture, a “village hall” in the centre of the Lower Riverside district containing all the resident amenities for the phase including an exclusive gym, business rooms, 24/7 concierge, nursery and restaurant.

Designed to maximise natural light, the apartments come with major-brand kitchen appliances and high-quality, contemporary fixtures and fittings throughout. There’s an optional smart technology upgrade available too, which offers things including enhanced security, home cinema, and intelligent lighting and heating to reduce energy bills.

CGI of Parkview (Knight Dragon)With over 2,000 homes already complete, there’s a thriving community of 5,500 residents who now call Greenwich Peninsula home. As well as excellent local amenities and transport links, there’s a strong cultural atmosphere too, with the O2 moments away for music and arts events, the NOW Gallery, a lively programme of festivals, and London’s first elevated walkway, The Tide, which celebrates arts, design and wellbeing. Some 17 pieces of art have already been installed on the Peninsula from some of the world’s most renowned artists, including Richard Wilson, Morag Myerscough, Alex Chinneck and Allen Jones, and there are also six Damien Hirst sculptures. Greenwich Peninsula is also home to London’s Design District, with 14 multi-use workspace buildings supporting 1,800 creatives.

Public transport options are plentiful, with speedy connection to The City and West End, and Canary Wharf only two minutes away on the Tube.

Laura Flanagan, director for Greenwich Peninsula at Knight Dragon, said: “We are delighted to launch Parkview at Peninsula Gardens. Given its fantastic park side location, Parkview provides the best of both worlds for residents, with the buzzing city only a short tube ride away whilst also having an abundance of nature and greenery on your doorstep. Peninsula Gardens supports a variety of lifestyles which is why homes are highly sought after as not many other residential developments in London can claim to do the same.”
