Frome at the top – brand new phase of homes on sale in Somerset town

Posted 3 November 2016 by Keith Osborne

Persimmon Homes has unveiled a collection of new build homes for sale at a development in the historic Mendips town of Frome...

Persimmon Homes is aiming to meet demand from house-hunters in the Frome area of Somerset with the release of a new phase of homes at its Persimmon @ Edmund Park development, on Warminster Road, in the eastern part of the town.

The mix of two-, three- and four-bedroom homes is now available, with details from here online and via the housebuilder’s Castle Mead development in Trowbridge in person until a marketing suite and show home opens at Edmund Park in the New Year.

Prices start from £184,995 at the development.

Pauline Fletcher, sales and marketing director for Persimmon Homes Wessex, says: “Frome proves to be a popular place to live for a wide range of buyers. We’re delighted to have opened up these opportunities for people to own a brand new home within this historic town.

“We have already received a high level of interest from those looking to purchase a home at Edmund Park.  The development is in an ideal location with a range of amenities on the doorstep, excellent transport links and a good choice of schools.”

“We expect demand for these homes to be strong thanks in part to the government-backed Help to Buy scheme. Under the scheme buyers only need to find a 5% deposit.  This helps combat the most common problem faced by those looking to purchase their first home.”
