Far East Consortium (FEC) has announced the launch of the Ruby Mews, a collection of just nine exclusive apartments, part of the Grade II* Listed Hornsey Town Hall development.

Set off Crouch End Broadway in gated seclusion, it’s a collection of studio, one- and two-bedroom apartments enjoys the ambiance of the private mews, whilst still enabling residents to access everything the development has to offer. Outside space is paramount and all apartments have either a spacious private balcony, large terrace or private garden.

The layered brickwork and carefully crafted geometric metal balustrades come together in the façades, to reflect original Art Deco features of the surrounding buildings. Inside the apartments, specification includes chevron timber flooring, Terrazzo-inspired worktops and floor-to-ceiling windows.

Ruby MewsDesigned by New Zealand-born architect Reginald Uren, The Town Hall was completed in 1935 and quickly became one of Britain's earliest and most iconic examples of modernist architecture. It is currently being meticulously restored to ensure the renovation plans reflect Uren’s original designs whilst meeting modern needs.

Once fully restored to its former glory, the iconic Town Hall will include a new Arts Centre, which will be operated by The TIME + SPACE Co. to provide first-class performance arts, flexible workspaces tailored to creatives, restaurants and cafés, a rooftop bar and other versatile event spaces. A Dao by Dorsett hotel, will also be situated within the original Town Hall building.

Away from the arts programme, there are a breadth of things to see and do outside the Town Hall’s doors, such as local parks, independent shops, galleries and cinemas. Crouch End, with its village-like feel, will ensure you feel at home in the Hornsey Town Hall development.

Some of the Ruby Mews collection is also available on the government’s Help to Buy initiative, applications must be submitted by 31 October 2022. Prices for the apartments start from £454,950 for a studio, £494,950 for a one-bedroom unit and £629,950 for a two-bedroom unit. Find out more at [email protected] or www.hornsey-town hall.co.uk.
