Announcement Of New Buyer Incentive In Harpenden

Posted 7 December 2020 by Keith Osborne

Reserving a home at Welcombe House can be great news for a chosen charity for house-hunters in Hertfordshire...

Fairview New Homes has announced a brand-new incentive on its Welcombe House development in Harpenden.

The developer, who built the Welcombe House collection on the site of the former Harpenden House Hotel, has pledged to donate £10,000 to a chosen charity for anyone who purchases a new home at the development between now and Friday 25 December.

Chris Hood, sales director at Fairview New Homes, explained: “Harpenden has always been a hugely desirable town. With its pretty tree-lined high-street, abundance of public green outdoor spaces and excellent commuter links to London, it is easy to see why.

“We are really proud to announce our new Welcombe House incentive, where if you buy, we donate £10K to your chosen charity. This means if you reserve before the deadline, £10K will be donated to a charity of your choice on completion. Or, if you’re not looking to buy right now, but recommend someone who is and they reserve, we will donate £5,000 to each of your chosen charities.

There are currently a range of two- and three-bedroom houses and apartments available at Welcombe House. Prices for apartments start from £799,000 and the houses are priced from £950,000. Homes come with contemporary fixtures and fittings, luxury bathrooms, stylish fully fitted kitchens and sumptuous bedrooms. Homes also benefit from their own private gardens.

The development is located opposite the Common, on the outskirts of town and just a seven-minute walk to Harpenden railway station. From here, it’s just 26-minutes to Kings Cross St. Pancras. The M1, M25 and A1 are also nearby.

Residents looking to enjoy the great outdoors are spoilt for choice, with the two-mile Harpenden Common, 56-acre Rothamsted Park, Lydekker Park and Batford Springs Nature reserve close by. The Nickey Line – a seven-mile disused railway line linking Harpenden to Hemel Hempstead – is popular with walkers, runners and cyclists alike.

For families, there is an excellent range of ‘Good’ and ‘Outstanding’-rated state and private primary and secondary schools. And on the high street, there’s a good mix of independent and chain stores, restaurants, pubs and gastropubs, making this a wonderful place to call home.
