Dandara East Scotland has released the final properties in its current phase at Eskbank Gardens in Eskbank, near Dalkeith.

Only five larger homes are available for reservation on the development in the sought-after commuter town, situated just over 10 miles from Edinburgh. These include the four-bedroom ‘Orkney’, ‘Rum’ and ‘Arran’ house types and five-bedroom ‘Canna’, which come with end-of-summer incentives for buyers who act now.

Priced at £431,995 ‘The Rum’ comes with a £5,000 deposit contribution or Moving Made Easy option, plus flooring throughout. With Moving Made Easy, Dandara will help sell a buyer’s existing home and pay the estate agent fees, subject to terms and conditions. At the heart of this four-bedroom detached home is the wraparound open-plan kitchen/dining/lounge with French doors to the garden. There is also a separate family room, a utility room and downstairs WC. Upstairs, there are four bedrooms with the main bedroom featuring a walk-in wardrobe and en suite. There is also a family bathroom. Outside is the detached garage.

Tony Williamson, sales director at Dandara East Scotland, said: “These properties are among the largest on the development and are ideal for growing families or people who love entertaining as there is lots of space for friends to stay and large open-plan kitchens with dining rooms perfect for hosting parties or informal get-togethers.

“We currently have great offers on these final homes including our Home of the Month, ‘The Arran’. Priced at £405,995, it is now available for Part Exchange, so buyers can be settled in their new, energy-efficient property before the end of this year. They can also stay in their own home until their new home is ready. This saves money on home reports, estate agency fees and enables a stress and hassle-free move, subject to terms and conditions.”

With Dalkeith centre just under two miles away, buyers will benefit from handy local amenities, high street shops, restaurants, and the green open space of King’s Park and Dalkeith Country Park. The railway train station is just under a mile away from Eskbank Gardens and offers direct services to Edinburgh Waverley in as little as 20 minutes. The nearby Edinburgh City Bypass allows for journeys via the A1, A7 and A68 for travel further afield.

A new phase of homes – Eskbank South – will be launching later this year, with the first homes likely to be ready for occupation in Spring 2024. Find out more about Eskbank Gardens from Dandara.
