New Show Home Unveiled In Leicestershire

Posted 13 July 2022 by Helen Christie

Crest Nicholson has unveiled a brand new show home at its Potter's Grange development in Ashby-de-la-Zouch, Leicestershire…

The four-bedroom Cranleigh house at Potter’s Grange from WhatHouse? Award-winning housebuilder Crest Nicholson, has been thoughtfully styled to complement the surrounding aesthetic by leading interior designer, Edward Thomas Interiors.

The Cranleigh is a detached property featuring a large open-plan kitchen, dining and living room, providing a spacious and flexible area to suit a range of needs. The ground floor benefits from French doors, leading directly out onto the garden, which floods the space with natural light and provides an ideal space for entertaining guests. Upstairs, the home offers two double bedrooms, including one main bedroom with an en-suite and a built-in wardrobe, two single rooms and a family bathroom offering an ideal space for large families.

Andy Richardson, managing director at Edward Thomas Interiors, comments: “The styling for the Cranleigh follows a chic country design with plenty of glamour injected through muted gold metallics, velvet upholstery and textured wallpaper. The colour palette is varied with green, amber and burgundy blending alongside taupe and neutrals to bring the outside in.

“In the open-plan downstairs area we’ve chosen to create distinctive zones for relaxing, dining or entertaining, cooking and working from home. Upstairs, the bedrooms have been styled as elegant retreats. The main features full width panelling alongside a dramatic half height floral wallpaper to create a statement behind the bed. Finally, the two children’s rooms echo the Cranleigh’s colourways. One features a Gucci theme using the brand’s signature green and red stripe while the other is aimed at a younger child and includes a tepee bed and woodland theme, inspired by camping in the forest.”

Vanessa MacNee, sales and marketing director at Crest Nicholson Midlands, comments: “This latest show home will give prospective buyers the opportunity to really envisage themselves living at Potter’s Grange. The Cranleigh perfectly showcases the flexibility we offer across all our house types and with a range of two, three, four and five-bedroom properties available, there is a great variety for families and those looking to upsize. We’re already seeing a lot of interest in the homes at Potter’s Grange, so I would encourage those considering a move to get in touch with the sales team as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.”

Located just one mile from the centre of Ashby-de-la-Zouch and in the heart of the National Forest, Potter’s Grange offers residents the chance to have the best of both worlds living in a historic market town, whilst being surrounded by picturesque countryside. Well-known for its heritage and architecture, Ashby-de-la-Zouch boasts fantastic activities for families with Ashby Castle nearby, as well as the local Museum and the Bath grounds.

Residents will also be spoilt for choice when it comes to local amenities. The town offers an electric mix of high street stores, clothes boutiques, pubs and restaurants, while Ashby Park – with a range of supermarkets and stores including M&S Food Hall – is just a five-minute drive away. For families, there is a wide range of primary and secondary schools to choose from. Just a short walk from the development is Woodcote Primary School, rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted, as well as the Ashby-de-la-Zouch Church of England Primary School, also rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted.

Commuters are well catered for too, with Burton-on-Trent train station less than nine miles away, and offering regular direct services into Birmingham, Nottingham and Derby, while the M42 and M1 are both within 10 miles of Potter’s Grange.

Homes start from £285,000 for a three-bedroom, £365,000 for a four-bedroom, and £440,000 for a five-bedroom.

A number of schemes are available on selected properties including Part Exchange, Deposit Unlock, Smoothmove, and the new First Homes scheme, which is coming soon for selected homes.
