New Family Homes Launched In Hawley

Posted 22 June 2023 by Helen Christie

Crest Nicholson has launched a collection of new homes at its Fernhurst development in Hawley in Surrey…

Crest Nicholson has launched a selection of brand new four- and five-bedroom homes at its popular Fernhurst development, in the commuter town of Hawley.

The additional homes are being released after nearly 80% of homes at the development have sold.

One of the house types available on the development, the four-bedroom Hexham, has already proved popular among local families. The three-storey layout provides space for four generously sized bedrooms, offering choice and multi-functionality for children of all ages. The ground floor features a kitchen/dining area and separate living room, giving buyers the flexibility needed for modern family life. The first floor features two large double bedrooms and a bathroom whilst the top floor hosts the main bedroom and en-suite, along with a second double bedroom and bathroom.

Also available as part of this latest release, the five-bedroom Whixley benefits from a spacious open plan kitchen-dining-family area at the rear of the property, which maximises light and space and is ideal for entertaining large groups of friends and family. On the ground floor there is a spacious separate living room with an elegant bay window, utility room, WC, and a study, a great addition for those who work from home. On the first floor, the home benefits from four double bedrooms and a single bedroom. While the main bedroom has its own en-suite, the remaining three bedrooms share a family bathroom.

Eileen Guihen, sales and marketing director at Crest Nicholson, comments: “We are pleased to be releasing a new range of family homes at Fernhurst to meet growing demand in the area and following the success we have already seen with sales on site. Offering 75% open green spaces, the development is ideal for families and second-steppers looking for well-connected living in a vibrant area. Our dedicated SmoothMove and Part Exchange schemes are also available on select properties to support prospective buyers with existing properties to move seamlessly into their new home.”

Camberley and Farnborough town centres are less than a 15-minute drive away, offering residents a wide selection of restaurants, high street retailers, cafes and pubs, and there are also a number of leisure complexes. Hawley Meadows and Blackwater Park are a short walk away, best for enjoying fresh air and outdoor activities with friends and family. For those with young or growing families, Fernhurst is located near an array of schools, including Grange Community Junior School, rated ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted, and Hawley Primary School, rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted.

In addition to a range of amenities, residents will benefit from nearby transport connections both by road and rail. The development is situated off the M3, which allows easy access to London, Basingstoke and the M25, while nearby Farnborough train station offers direct services to London Waterloo in just 34 minutes.

Prices for four-bedroom homes start at £549,950, with five-bedroom homes starting at £629,950. Selected homes at Fernhurst are also available with the Deposit Unlock scheme, offering new homes with a 5% deposit, and the Deposit Booster scheme, which offers an additional 5% deposit for buyers who have already saved 10%.
