Kent house-hunters have a new show home to explore with the unveiling of the ‘Keswick’ at Crest Nicholson’s Lancaster Park scheme in the village of West Malling, Kent.

The four-bedroom home has been carefully crafted by leading interior designers, Blocc, tailored to young professionals or growing families. The layout of the ‘Keswick’ has been thoughtfully designed to maximise each room, showcasing the flexibility of space. The ground floor boasts a large lounge with chrome furniture to reflect the natural light from the French windows leading into the garden, and a spacious home study ideal for those working from home. A large kitchen and dining area stretches across the length of the house and features a utility room, perfect for those with busy families. Upstairs are four generously sized bedrooms, including an en suite and built-in wardrobe in the master bedroom, alongside a separate family bathroom.

Pat Nightingale, sales director at Blocc, commented: “We wanted to create a contemporary home with an eclectic mix of textures that blend seamlessly, giving a different look and feel to each room in the house. We mixed smoky blues with tonal greys and a light neutral background which added an urban feel. We ensured the two children’s bedrooms were playful with a pirate and mermaid theme. The master bedroom has luxurious touches with a tailored headboard and dramatic light fittings, while the guest room contrasts as a quiet oasis of calm with subtle textured wallpaper. There are also bespoke pieces of artwork throughout, specially created for the home, accompanied by unusual lighting to set the scene.”
