Housebuilder’s Special Deals On New Homes In Lancashire
Barratt Developments – the WhatHouse? Housebuilder of the Year in 2019, which trades under the Barratt Homes and David Wilson Homes brands – currently has some excellent deals on properties for sale at a number of its developments in Lancashire.
Inglewhite Meadow is a collection of two-, three- and four-bedroom homes in Longridge, Preston, within the sought-after Ribble Valley area. Home here is within walking distance of shopping, quaint bars and award-winning restaurants. Families will also be attracted by the area’s highly rated schools. Home of the Week here is the ‘Hadley’. Until 31 May 2022, David Wilson Homes will pay your Stamp Duty Fees and include an upgraded kitchen on this semi-detached three-bedroom/two-bathroom house, which is priced at £260,000. Prices here start at just £90,500 thanks to a Low Cost scheme available on some perfect starter homes, such as the one-bedroom ‘Lewes’. Terms and conditions apply to who is eligible for this scheme.
Bowland Meadow is in Longridge and there’s currently a fantastic range of two-, three- and four-bedroom house types to consider, with starting prices from £213,995 to £308,995. Among these are some which qualify for the government-backed Help to Buy scheme, open to first-time buyers, which needs a deposit of only 5% and provides an equity loan for 20% of the price, meaning the purchaser needs a mortgage for just 75% of the property price. The ‘Ellerton’ starts at £217,495, requiring a deposit of £10,875 and mortgage for £163,121. This terraced home has a kitchen/dining room with French doors to the garden, a lounge at the front, downstairs WC, two double bedrooms (one en suite), single bedroom and family bathroom, and comes with parking for two cars.
The ‘Moresby’ house type
Also in the Ribble Valley is The Brooks, in Barrow. Around two-thirds of the homes here have already been purchased or reserved but there are still a number of two-, three- and four-bedroom houses for sale with starting prices between £233,376 and £370,000. At £275,000, the Home of the Week here is the ‘Moresby’. Ready to move into this summer, this home has an offer until the end of May 2022 where Barratt Homes will contribute up to £10,000 towards moving costs (terms and conditions apply). Centurion Village is taking shape in Leyland. Barratt Homes is also building homes at Centurion Village, with a number of three- and four-bedroom examples currently for sale, starting at £240,995. One is the ‘Ellerton’, priced at £244,995. The buyer of this home as two assistance schemes to choose from. One is Part Exchange, where they can agree a price and the company will be a cash buyer, or there’s the Deposit Unlock scheme which is open to both first-time buyers and existing homeowners at would require a deposit of just 5%. The ‘Woodbury’ house type
