Housebuilder Reports 70% Sold In Sandbach

Posted 10 February 2021 by Keith Osborne

Sales are progressing well at J One Seven but there are still a variety of three- and four-bedroom house types available...

Barratt Homes is celebrating sales success as 70% of homes are now sold at its J One Seven development in Sandbach, Cheshire.

The developer is seeing rising interest in the scheme, located on Old Mill Road and currently offering a selection of three- and four-bedroom homes available to reserve, with prices currently starting at £239,995.

Michaela Lancaster, sales director at Barratt Homes Manchester, said: “It’s wonderful to see so many homebuyers settling into their beautiful new homes at J One Seven. The development has been built by an award-winning site manager who, alongside the Barratt Homes team, has brought to life the new community in Sandbach.

“J One Seven is now open on an appointment only basis so I would encourage anyone interested to visit the website or call the sales line to book an appointment with one of our friendly sales advisers.”

Site manager Martin Couch has worked for Barratt Homes for over seven years, starting out as an apprentice bricklayer, and has won multiple awards including the Seal of Excellence in 2018 and 2019 and the Pride in the Job award in 2020.

Laura and Ashley recently moved into a three-storey home at the development and were impressed with their new surroundings. Ashley said: “It was the house that brought us to the area, but it was definitely worth moving for. The town is only a 15-minute walk away and there is a new retail park being built just to the site of the estate which will bring more to the town too.

“The neighbours are also a lovely group of people; we’ve got a Facebook group and a WhatsApp group to keep us all connected.”

Jamie and Akram recently purchased a ‘Fawley’ style townhouse at the development. Akram said: “We were drawn to the ‘Fawley’ because we love entertaining, so the open-plan design really appealed to us, and I love the bay windows that fill the room with light. Having the second living room gave us the flexibility to choose what room we wanted to spend time in, whether it was just the two of us or we were hosting friends and family.”

As well as its Part Exchange Xtra scheme for those stepping up the property ladder, Barratt Homes also, as a thank you to NHS staff for their work during the pandemic, offer a 5% Deposit Scheme for all NHS workers. There are three show homes to view at J One Seven, by appointment only.
