First Homes Unveiled At Waverley Development

Avant Homes has revealed the first homes for sale at its highly anticipated Sorby Park development in Waverley, South Yorkshire.

Works commenced on the 144-home site in March 2021. It will feature three-, four- and five-bedroom homes across 13 of the housebuilder’s house designs. The first homes are available from £224,995 for a three-bedroom semi-detached property.

Each property at the development has a specification which includes an open-plan living space featuring a designer kitchen with integrated appliances and bi-fold doors. Bathrooms have full-height tiling with the ensuite boasting a digitally controlled shower. Sorby Park will also be one of the first Avant Homes’ developments to include under-floor heating, the newest enhancement to the housebuilder’s standard specification.

Situated off the Sheffield Parkway, Sorby Park is located on Harworth Group’s Waverley development, which is the largest ever brownfield mixed-use development in Yorkshire. Once complete, the 740-acre site will include 3,890 homes, shops, restaurants, a primary school, and leisure and community facilities including parks and 310-acres of green open space.
