Sisters Are First Residents At Warwick Scheme

Sonny and Raj believe their ‘Buxton’ house type chose them when they visited Redrow’s Midsummer Meadow...

A new Warwick development has reached a key milestone and welcomed its first residents, with sisters Sonny and Raj Binning moving into their new home at Redrow Midlands’ Midsummer Meadow, on Europa Way.

The development, which is set to bring 235 much-needed new homes to the region, unveiled its show homes earlier this year.

Having grown up in nearby Leamington Spa, Sonny and Raj were already considering buying a new build when construction started at Midsummer Meadow. Both keen to get on the property ladder and move into their own home, the sisters reached out to the Redrow team to find out more about homes available after some initial research.

Immediately upon visiting the development, the sisters fell in love with Redrow’s Heritage homes, which combine all the charm of the Arts and Craft era with modern, spacious interiors.

Sonny said: “When we first visited the show home, we immediately felt at home. There was something about the quality of the build and the style that reminded us of our childhood – the exteriors especially have a lot of character, which we loved.

“We were already looking for a new build in the area, as we liked the idea of having a blank canvas to work with, so that first visit confirmed Midsummer Meadow was definitely the right place for us.”

‘Buxton’‘Buxton’ house type

The duo chose the ‘Buxton’, which features two large bedrooms, ideal for two adults sharing a home. Sonny said: “We felt like the ‘Buxton’ chose us. We were both ready to venture out in the world, and we knew this was the perfect place to start.

“I’m the oldest sibling, while Raj is the youngest, but we’ve always been really close. I couldn’t be happier to have her by my side as we embark on our home ownership journey together.”

Elaine Cartwright, sales director for Redrow Midlands, added: “We are thrilled to welcome our first residents at Midsummer Meadow, and we look forward to seeing the development grow into a thriving community. Due to its close proximity to bustling cities, all while offering all the perks of rural life, the development is proving to be very popular as it continues to pique the interest of buyers searching for a traditional home with a high-spec interior.

“We’d like to wish a very warm welcome to Sonny and Raj – we hope you will be very happy in your fantastic new home!”

Surrounded by open farmland, woodland and waterways, Midsummer Meadow offers a mix of one- and two-bedroom apartments, as well as two-, three- and four-bedroom homes from Redrow’s Heritage collection, designed to suit a wide range of families. Located just minutes away from the town centre, and with great transport links to the rest of the Midlands, the development is ideal for commuters looking for a slice of country life while enjoying the practicality of urban living.
