With the chance to sell their existing home hassle-free, data scientist Martin and senior policy adviser Jayne made the move from their two-bedroom Northamptonshire home to a three-bedroom property in Biddenham.

Martin says: “We chose Bedford based on its proximity to London, as we both work there. After our last purchase, we were actively looking for a new build property; there are a lot of advantages to a new build and a nice feeling of being the first one in, with everything brand new.

“We visited Bedford itself a few times and went to a couple of different new build developments, but St Mary’s provided the best all-round based on location, price and house type. We finally settled on Linden Homes as we'd heard good reviews.”

Martin continues: “Location-wise, Bedford itself is well placed and connected to London. Locally, the development is on the outskirts of town with easy links to the A6 and A422 to Milton Keynes. The home itself it is well finished, has spacious rooms and high quality fixtures and fittings. The finish overall is of a high standard and Linden Homes customer service has been excellent at all stages.”
