Location and space is the key for Boorley Park
Stephen, 46, purchased a two-bedroom house at the Bloor Homes development in Botley.
Having previously lived in a two-bedroom property 30 miles away in Lymington, Stephen decided it was time to reduce the daily work commute and relocate somewhere nearer.
Graphic designer Stephen says: “Having more space was the most important factor for me and this is exactly what impressed me when I saw my current Bloor home, the generously sized rooms and the beautiful layout of the house.
“The location of the development is just ideal for my workplace and reduces my journey significantly, which is a great benefit. When I viewed the property for the first time, I noticed the fantastic quality of build which is another reason of why I am so pleased with my purchase.”
The graphic designer took advantage of the government backed Help to Buy scheme, securing his ideal new home with a small deposit and reduced mortgage.
The scheme enables buyers to secure a new build home worth up to £600,000 with just a 5% deposit and 75% mortgage. The remaining 20% is provided as an equity loan which remains interest free for five years.
Stephen adds: “I found the Help to Buy scheme particularly beneficial and Bloor were very good in explaining it.
“The buying process was fairly easy and the Bloor team was very helpful and supportive, overall my experience was satisfactory.”
A range of four-bedroom homes and one five-bedroom home are currently available for sale at Boorley Park, priced from £420,000 to £595,000.
