Family Move Into 200th Home At Feniscowles Development
For the last four years, Holly Knowles and her family have been renting at Kingswood Homes’ Green Hills development off Livesey Brand Road with the aim of eventually buying their own home. When the time came to buy, they didn’t want to leave Green Hills and found a home a few streets away that was perfect for their growing family.
Holly says: “While renting at Green Hills, we really loved the amount of green space there was. Our eldest is four and it’s so great that we can take him on walks around the development, it feels really safe too. There’s lots of families at a similar stage of life to us, it’s just a lovely little community. In terms of Kingswood’s homes we experienced how good the build quality was while renting one. We loved the open-plan feel our rental house, a Weaver 3, had downstairs but we needed something bigger for our growing family which is why the Byre 5 was perfect for us.”
The family, who also have a one-year-old, have chosen an open-plan layout downstairs with a spacious kitchen, dining and family area at the back of the home. There is also a separate playroom and essential utility.
Holly continues: “We loved our rental home but once we had two children, the toys seemed to take over but the Byre 5 has the most amazing playroom and now they have their own designated space.”
Upstairs, the Byre 5 has four double bedrooms and one single bedroom that the couple will be using as a dressing room.
Holly adds: “We added a door into bedroom 5 from our bedroom so we can use it as a dressing room for now but if we have any more children then we can change it back into a bedroom as there will still access from the landing.”
Holly and Paul’s journey to buy their first home has been made even better thanks to the Kingswood sales team.
“The communication from the sales consultants has been really good. As first-time buyers, this is really important and we know we’re kept up to date with everything.”
