Only One Choice For Congleton Couple
Mark and Diane drove past Jones Homes’ Westlow Heath development in Congleton every time they visited the town and, as previous Jones Homes customers, had singled out the site as somewhere they would live one day.
Although they loved their Jones Homes property at Kingsfield Park in Macclesfield, they decided during the pandemic that it was too far away from Nathan, who lives in Congleton and has special needs.
Mark says: “We wanted to stick with Jones Homes having fallen in love with our home at Kingsfield Park. We really like the design of Jones Homes properties and wanted to find something similar with our new home. We didn’t even look at any other developments, we knew we would want a home at Westlow Heath. Whenever we went to visit Nathan, we always drove past the site, and knew we needed to buy a home there someday.”
The couple, who have three children and two grandchildren, bought the four-bedroom detached Banbury design at Westlow Heath, and have settled in well since moving in 2021.
Mark, who ran an international haulage business, says: “We specifically like the house we have bought because of its outdoor space; we don’t have any neighbours directly next to us, and our view is of two large oak trees and a wild valley. It is a lovely thing to wake up to every morning.”
Diane, a midday assistant, says: “Although all our children have moved out now, it didn’t feel right downsizing. Our grandchildren often come over and it is great to have the space to entertain them all. Every bedroom is a double, and the main bedroom has an en suite as well as fitted wardrobes, while downstairs we have a large kitchen space which is great for entertaining, too.”
As well as loving their new Jones Homes property, the couple also appreciate Westlow Heath’s location in Congleton.
Mark continues: “The town has great commuter links to the M6 North and South. There is also a bypass around the town which helps to decrease traffic immensely. Me and my eldest son enjoy going for walks and cycling around different routes in the area. There is so much green space to explore, right on our doorstep. We enjoy taking our children and grandchildren to local pubs and restaurants, and we have become very fond of The Waggon and Horses, as well as The Plough Inn.”
Moving home was a smooth process too, as the couple used Jones Homes’ Agency Assist scheme to help them sell their old place. The scheme means Jones Homes will help to sell a customer’s previous property, and also pay up to £3,000 towards estate agent fees.
Mark adds: “Terri Stamp, our sales advisor at Westlow Heath, walked through the scheme with us and explained how we would benefit from it. She was very attentive and supportive throughout the process which made it much simpler and straightforward.”
Diane continues: “The customer service at Westlow Heath was very good. Terri dealt with any queries we had very quickly, and Harvey Collins the site manager was always on hand to help. We would definitely recommend Westlow Heath to other buyers.”
There’s currently a choice of four-bedroom houses available to reserve at Westlow Heath, with prices starting from £289,950.
