House Type and Area Tick All the Boxes for Couple in Wales

Jonathan Twamley and his wife Catherine knew exactly what they wanted and what they were going to get when they found a dream home at Goitre Fach, a development located on the border of St Fagans and Radyr.

The David Wilson Homes development was an ideal choice for the couple, as Jonathan actually works for the WhatHouse? Housebuilder of the Year, as construction director at its regional head office in Coryton.

“I have first-hand experience of just what makes the perfect home, in terms of build quality,” he said. “I also know the area around Goitre Fach well. Radyr, and all its local amenities, is just over a mile away and Cardiff is a mere 20-minute drive – so the development is in a brilliant location.

“When we first visited Goitre Fach, we were struck by the feeling of space here – with all plots enjoying good-sized gardens. We chose the ‘Holden’ house design as the size of all the rooms suits our lifestyle – where we can entertain in the kitchen/dining area but also have a spacious living room too. All four bedrooms are a large too – plus there is plenty of storage space.”

Catherine found plenty to love about this part of the world, adding: “This is a really beautiful area to live. We are surrounded by trees but are within half-an-hour’s walk to a lively village, which has all amenities you can think of – an Italian restaurant, a number of bars, an optician and a chemist. We love our new home and would gladly recommend to anyone who is considering living here.”

Jonathan commented: “I cannot speak highly enough of my colleagues in the team here. The service has been exemplary, from start until now. We’ve been fortunate enough to be ready to buy quickly at this development but the process is made very straightforward, whatever your situation, by the experienced advisors here.”

Goitre Fach is tree-lined development of executive four- and five-bedroom homes. The four-bedroom ‘Exeter’, ‘Holden’ and ‘Layton’ house types are priced from £450,000, £458,000 and £490,000 respectively, and the five-bedroom ‘Manning’ home starts from £583,000.
