From the skies to their first new home

First-time buyers Luke Cousins and Harriet Flesher have recently moved into their new three-bedroom home at Pennine View with their dog, Darcy.

Pennine View is a development of 86 homes currently being built off New Road in Denholme.

Luke, 20, says: “The team at Prospect Homes have been exceptional with myself and Harriet, from the moment we first walked through the door of the marketing suite to when we picked up our keys, they helped guide us through every step of the homebuying process. We managed to reserve our home and complete just four weeks later, and even since we have moved in the after care service we have received has been fantastic, we couldn’t be happier.”

Luke and Harriet met through their jobs as cabin crew members for a well-known airline company at Leeds Bradford airport, to which they now make the daily commute from Denholme. After falling in love with a three-bedroom Woodrush house, the couple have bought their new home at Pennine View. They managed to reserve, exchange and complete on the purchase of their property within just four weeks, thanks to the helpfulness of the staff at Prospect Homes.

Luke says: “We both really enjoy the drive to work from the development as we’re set in a rural area, meaning there’s some lovely countryside views which greet us each morning. The commute to work takes around 30 minutes each day, so we’re still close to the larger towns and cities while living in the village. We feel as though we’ve really got the best of both worlds here.”
