First-time Buyers Find Dream Home at Cawston Rise

Posted 12 June 2018 by Helen Christie

The Cawston Rise development in Rugby from William Davis Homes proved to be the perfect choice for first-time buyers, Maddie and Alex…

The young couple and their son, Harry, 2, are the first set of first-time buyers to make their move to Cawston Rise, and couldn’t be happier with their new Meden home.

Maddie says: “With a young child and us both working while studying for degrees, it was important to find a home that was liveable from the start. Buying a new build meant we could immediately personalise everything plus the Meden just ticked all the boxes; a generous garden, large drive for two cars and a really spacious and flexible design. It’s been a great choice for us.”

Maddie and Alex used the Help to Buy scheme to purchase their home, and this made all the difference. Alex says: “We’d heard about Help to Buy from friends that had used the scheme so when we found out it was available at Cawston Rise we realised we were able to buy the new build home we’d always wanted. The process was easy and the William Davis Homes team were extremely helpful; keeping us updated and giving us confidence throughout our purchase.”

Situated on the edge of the popular market town of Rugby, Cawston Rise benefits from excellent road and rail links, with London highly commutable, as well as easy access to local shops, schools, surgeries and amenities.

Maddie adds: “Cawston Rise has a great location, there’s a good school nearby and the whole area has a real family atmosphere with local parks and open space to enjoy.”

William Davis Homes’ sales consultant at Cawston Rise, Wendy McGregor says: “It’s always exciting to hand over the keys but especially the case when it’s a customer’s very first home; we wish Maddie, Alex and Harry every success in their new property.

“Help to Buy is a fantastic scheme, meaning purchasers can secure a brand new home with just a 5% deposit, yet still own 100% of the property. It’s not just available to first time buyers like Maddie and Alex either; it’s open to anyone looking to buy a new build home providing it’s their only residence. With typical Help to Buy purchases proceeding within six to eight weeks, we encourage anything thinking about a new home for the summer to visit Cawston Rise to find out more.”

Cawston Rise features a complete collection of two- to five-bedroom homes with current availability including detached three- and four-bedroom homes, priced from £290,000 to £445,000.

Help to Buy and Part Exchange are available, as well as William Davis Homes’ bespoke soft furnishings package. For more information, visit williamdavis.co.uk/developments/cawston-rise. Showhomes are open daily, 11am-5pm.
