First Home For Mum In Greater Manchester

Single mum, Lola, has finally stepped onto the property ladder and bought her first home at a Countryside development in Greater Manchester, relocating almost 150 miles from her previous home. 

After renting an apartment in Northamptonshire since her two sons (aged 9 and 10) were young, Lola was keen to secure a more permanent home for her family. 

Compliance analyst, Lola, comments: “It’s always been my dream to own a home and I’m so pleased I have made this happen for me and my sons. It’s such a relief knowing that this is our forever home; I’ve worked hard for so many years to achieve this, saving every penny I could for my deposit. We finally have a place to truly call our own and can put our own stamp on the home, which is something we’ve never been able to do. I’m looking forward to putting down roots in Manchester and settling into our new life here.” 

Lola’s home search led her to Countryside’s development in Belle Vue, Manchester, where she has purchased a three-bedroom semi-detached Dearne house type. 

Better schooling and extra-curricular activities were also a key priority when Lola began her home search as she hoped to build a better future for her family. 

Lola explains: “We’re now surrounded by great schools and activities to keep the boys busy - everything is just a short walk or drive away which is so handy as before I was forever taking them into London on the weekends to keep them entertained! I genuinely think ‘when you know, you know’. As soon as I visited the development, I knew it would be somewhere my kids would grow up happy. The boys now have their own bedrooms and space to play outside and I have my own sanctuary in the master bedroom on the second floor to relax after a long day.”
