Double House Joy For Lincolnshire Couple

Posted 9 August 2023 by Helen Christie

A couple has bought their second home at Chestnut Homes’ Kings Manor development in Lincolnshire…

A couple has found happiness for a second time at a popular development in Coningsby, after buying their second Chestnut home at the Kings Manor development.

After outgrowing their previous two-bedroom Chestnut home, Laura and Chris Ramsden decided to upsize to a four-bedroom Orchard home, situated just down the road from their original house.

Laura first bought her home at the development five years ago with the government's Help to Buy scheme, and after marrying Chris and expanding their family with the arrival of a four-legged friend, it was clear they needed a little more space.

Laura says: “After getting our dog, we needed more space both inside and outside. Me and Chris are both locals, born and bred in Lincolnshire, and after living at Kings Manor for five years, it has certainly become home for us. We were keen to do all we could to stay, so when a larger property became available on the development, we just knew we had to snap it up. We love Kings Manors so much and we really couldn’t picture ourselves anywhere else. We were fortunate enough at this time to upsize on our new property, but if it wasn’t for Chestnut Homes offering the Help to Buy scheme for our first home, it wouldn't have been possible.”

Laura adds: “The homes at Chestnut Homes’ development are unlike those from other housebuilders. Each home has its own individual style, which really made our decision much easier. Chestnut Homes made the move such an easy process for us too, and we couldn’t be happier to have been lucky enough to have found two homes of our dreams in such a fantastic location.”

Helene Key, sales manager at Chestnut Homes, says: “It’s so rewarding to offer single buyers like Laura the opportunity to own their first home, but it’s especially wonderful to be able to help them on the next step of their property journey too. Laura and Chris were in need of a larger home for their growing family and it’s fantastic to have been able to give them the opportunity to move literally around the corner, to a new home they can enjoy for years to come. We wish them all the happiness in their new home. Kings Manor is an attractive development with easy access to Lincoln, and so much to offer first time buyers, growing families or downsizers.”

Kings Manor, close to the Lincolnshire Wolds, offers two-, three-, and four-bedroom homes in the historic village of Coningsby, with prices starting from £279,950.
