Helen ChristieLooking for a new beginning, Robert Craig knew that he wanted a new home, and that he wanted to be in the heart of Glasgow city centre. So, when he discovered Cala’s Prince’s Quay development, it was an easy choice to reserve his new home.
Located in Media City, Robert loved the idea of having everything he needed right on his doorstep. He says: “When I found Prince’s Quay, I knew it was the development for me. It’s super stylish, has gorgeous outdoor space, lots of surrounding greenery, and it is well located with the SEC, Hydro and the hip foodie hub of Finnieston, all within a 10-minute walk.”
Robert chose the Cameron two-bedroom garden apartment at the development. He continues: “I loved the fact it was a main door garden apartment. Following a life changing illness, and a separation from my partner, I decided I needed a fresh start. Prince’s Quay was the ideal place, and the apartment was the perfect size for me. The location also means that I have everything I need nearby. I can socialise easily, pop out for a coffee whenever I want, and nip to the Village Gym which is right beside my home, as health and wellbeing is mega important to me - now more than ever.”
The popular Cameron garden apartment has an open plan living, dining and kitchen area which is perfect for Robert, who loves entertaining his friends and family.

He adds: “I love the stylish open plan kitchen and dining area, the two spacious bedrooms and the contemporary fixtures and fitting that Cala used throughout. I also work primarily from home, so the fact that the apartment has Gigabit-enabled broadband which was active from the day I moved in is just fantastic. Energy efficiency is also something that I took into consideration when I was moving. It was certainly one of the main reasons I decided on another new build home.”
Robert continues: “The whole sales team at Cala’s Prince’s Quay have been fantastic too, I reserved my plot in March, and I had moved in by the end of May this year, and nothing was ever too much for the team. They are super friendly and always deliver. The team have even hosted a ‘Meet the Neighbours’ get together over the summer which was lovely and not something I had experienced before; it was a great way to meet other people in my neighbourhood.”
Located in the heart of Finnieston, at Glasgow’s bustling Media City, Prince’s Quay boasts the best of both worlds. Although the Cameron apartments are now sold out, three-bedroom duplex homestyles and two-bedroom apartments with balconies are still available.
Prices start at £289,995 for a two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment.
