First-Time Buyers Become First Residents At Cambridgeshire Scheme

A family of three have recently become the first residents to lay down roots at Barratt Homes’ brand new Wintringham development in Cambridgeshire.

Lalit Bansal, an engineer, and Neha Aggarwal, a consultant (both 38) have settled into their first home at the Nuffield Road development with their three-year-old daughter Zahara.

The family were previously renting a house in Cambourne before taking the step onto the property ladder with a four-bedroom ‘Radleigh’ style home.

Neha said: “We’ve been waiting a long time to buy our first home. Every year we set a saving target and keep some money aside each month before making any expenditure.

“We chose the Wintringham development as it’s close to the train station, which meant our commute to work would be easier, and a school is close by. We looked around the ‘Radleigh’ show home and knew that it was ideal for us. It’s spacious, has a dedicated space for an office, a manageable garden, and a nicely sized kitchen and dining space. Most importantly, when we first saw the show home, our daughter instantly said: ‘This is my new home’, so that made the decision easy for us.

“From day one, the service we received was exceptional and personalised. The sales advisers answered all of our questions patiently, explained all the details thoroughly, and were always prompt and responsive. Since it’s our first home, we were anxious and doubtful, but the team made it easy, pleasant and memorable.”
