Aaron Celebrates a New Home for Christmas

Aaron and his partner Laura have recently set up home at Linden Homes West Yorkshire’s Riverside Mills development at Boroughbridge after reserving a brand new property from plan.

As well as all the benefit of a brand new space and peace of mind that new build offers, Aaron is celebrating the fact that he has very little distance to travel to work. Aaron currently works as production manager for Linden Homes West Yorkshire, and is based at the Riverside Mills development.

He says: “I work all over Yorkshire but with many of my sites in and around the A1/North Yorkshire it seemed a perfect location as my partner works in Wetherby too. I had been involved with the development from an early stage and knew the site well. Proximity to the town centre is great whilst still maintaining a rural feel so my partner didn’t take much persuading.

“We lived in Pontefract before but decided to move a bit move rural, the walks and scenery in North Yorkshire is beautiful however it maintains great transport links for our jobs.”

After selecting their preferred location, Aaron and Laura also picked their perfect property, by reserving their new home from plan.

Aaron adds: “This for me is the really exciting part as it allows you to watch throughout all the stages of build providing reassurance that everything is being done properly. Our site manager, John Firth loved us coming to site looking at the plot on a weekly basis. He took a great deal of pride displaying his build.”

The couple are no strangers to new builds, and the many advantages as a purchaser. They are now looking forward to Christmas in their new surroundings. Aaron ends: “It’s always exciting being the first resident on a new development, despite the fact it starts off a bit quiet. It is always nice to start to see the development progress, take shape and families start to move in.”
